Chloramphenicol eye and ear drops are commonly used to treat conjunctivitis, keratitis, and external ear canal infections. When using, follow the recommendations of your doctor or pharmacist and strictly follow the dosage and frequency of use. Avoid contact with other substances in your eyes, such as contact lenses, while using chloramphenicol. If any allergic reaction or adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Instructions:
1. Eye drops: Please wash your hands thoroughly before use, tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, drop it into your eyes, close your eyes and gently press the corners of your eyes to avoid loss. Use 4 to 6 times a day, increase or decrease the frequency as needed.
2. Ear drops: Clean your ears before use, instill the solution while lying on your side, and gently massage the auricle to help the solution spread. Use 3 to 4 times daily, adjusting as needed.
Dosage Guidelines:
1. Adults: The initial dose of eye drops is 1 to 2 drops each time, and the ear drops is 3 to 4 drops each time. The dose can be increased or decreased according to the severity of symptoms, but the total daily dose should not exceed 6 times.
2. Children: Children over 2 years old can use eye drops, the dosage is 1 drop each time, 3 to 4 times a day; for ear drops, please consult a physician.
